Julie Penfold, a name that shines,
An incredible mother, her love divine.
A nanna most excellent, a joy to behold,
With a heart so warm, and a soul of gold. Twenty-five years, a paramedic strong,
Saving lives, mending hearts, where she belonged.
Known as Penfold, a nickname so true,
But to animals, Pooly Dootlittel, through and through. She spoke their language, a gift so rare,
A dog groomer with gentle hands, full of care.
Adored by her grandchildren, the light of her days,
With laughter and chaos, she brightened all ways. EastEnders on, her guilty delight,
Her great sense of humour lit up the night.
A fighter for rights, so brave she would scold,
A small stature that cloaked a character so bold. Mumma bear fierce, her children’s shield,
To love and protect, she’d never yield.
A force of nature, honest and true,
Loyal and steadfast, through all she’d pursue. Now angels guard her, their wings outspread,
But her love lives on, though she’s not here instead.
Her lasting legacy, a gift from above,

We have so so many wonderful memories of you Julie. When we first moved away, you, John, Ellie and Izzy helped with things around our home, the day you and I spent building the sofa bed, crying from laughing so much. Our countless holidays, shopping trips, and the hours we would spend chatting on the phone putting the world to rights. And our annual Christmas decoration tradition, which won’t change. Watching your family grow and the enjoyment on your face as our girls played and grew together. We will look out for them always. You are everywhere in our home Julie, memories India and I will treasure forever. You are the shining star who will forever be missed. Until we meet again. Love you always, Carol and India xxx
